    The Magellan Road Mate 1212 portable GPS navigator brings some ease of mind to your life behind the wheel. Its 3.5" screen shows off the preloaded maps of the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, which you can follow along in two- or three-dimensional view mode. Its 6 million searchable points of interest make it easy to find nearby accommodations or services, including parking, hotels, dining, and gas stations. You can transport this compact navigator to another vehicle easily, or remove it for safekeeping when you're away from the car.

    GPS Receiver
    The Road Mate 1212 is equipped with a WAAS/EGNOS-equipped Centrality Atlas III GPS receiver. It receives tracking signals from numerous satellites, updating your position once per second. This receiver provides positioning accuracy down to 3 to 5 meters.

    Antenna
    The portable navigation unit features an integrated multidirectional GPS patch antenna adding to its sleek design.

    Map Data
    The Road Mate 1212 comes with detailed maps and destinations of the 48 Contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and Puerto Rico, preloaded onto the supplied SD Memory card. The Magellan website will have information on further map updates when they become available.

    Touch screen Display
    The unit features an anti-glare, touch screen 3.5" display with easy to use menus, maps and icons. The display's brightness can be adjusted for easy night and day time viewing.

    Turn-By-Turn Voice and Visual Guidance
    The Road Mate 1212 offers Turn-by-Turn visual guidance through it's wide touch screen display and voice guidance via its built-in speaker.

    Say Where
    The Road Mate 1212 is equipped with Magellan's exclusive Say Where text-to-speech feature. As you navigate to your destination, the Road Mate 1212 will announce the names of the street or exit ramps (or both if desired) that are involved in each maneuver.
