    Sony's SRS-M30 speakers are prefect for your PC or portable devices. The SRS-M30 features a compact, flat speaker design that is easily transportable as well as a 2-way power supply allowing you to power-up with the included AC adaptor or by using optional 3x "AAA" batteries. The 39mm Neodymium magnet drivers produce the sound for the SRS-M30, providing clear, crisp sound that can be adjusted with the volume control dial.

    39mm Neodymium Magnets
    Neodymium magnets are very strong relative to their mass, but are also mechanically fragile. Most neodymium magnets are anisotropic, and hence can only be magnetized along one direction although B10N material is isotropic.

    1.54" Full Range Speaker
    A Full-range loudspeaker drive unit is defined as a driver which reproduces as much of the audible frequency range as possible, within the limitations imposed by the physical constraints of a specific design. This is so difficult that there are few manufacturers producing full range drivers for high fidelity use, although there are many producing full-range drivers for television and other uses.

    Frequency Response: 250Hz to 20 kHz
    Frequency response is the measure of any system's spectrum response at the output to a signal of varying frequency (but constant amplitude) at its input. In the audible range it is usually referred to in connection with electronic amplifiers, microphones and loudspeakers. Radio spectrum frequency response can refer to measurements of coaxial cables, category cables, video switchers and wireless communications devices.

    Impedance: 8 Ohm
    The acoustic impedance Z (or sound impedance) is a frequency f dependent parameter and is very useful, for example, for describing the behavior of musical wind instruments. If the impedance is calculated for a range of excitation frequencies the result is an impedance curve. Plane, single-frequency traveling waves have acoustic impedance equal to the characteristic impedance divided by the surface area, where the characteristic impedance is the product of longitudinal wave velocity and density of the medium.
