This SLR camera comes with a great all-around lens to start you on the path to success. This standard lens covers a range of shots, but there is nothing average about it. In 35mm equivalent, it covers wide-angle 27mm to 105mm midrange telephoto for snapshots, portraits, interiors and more. You'll have the confidence and the ability to get a winning image every time.

More light
The 10.2MP CCD imager uses an advanced design to let more light pass to each pixel, thus improving sensitivity and reducing image noise. This also enables you to capture finer details when you make really big prints or wish to crop in very close. The 40-segment honeycomb sensing system supplies multipattern measuring for precise exposure control and accuracy.

Stave off shake
As crazy as it sounds, some digital SLR cameras don't start focusing until the shutter button is half-way pressed, and that slows down response time.
