    The AQUOS® E77U series sets a new standard for large-screen flat-panel TVs. With Full HD 1080p resolution and an elegant new design, this series produces a breathtaking picture quality that is second to none. The E77U Series utilizes Sharp's proprietary Advanced Super View Super lucent / Black TFT Panel with Spectral Contrast Engine XD, providing high Contrast Ratio, 4ms response time and wide viewing angles (176ºH x 176ºV). In addition, E77U models include 120HZ Fine Motion Enhanced for the ultimate in fast-motion image processing. All models are HDTV's with built-in ATSC / QAM / NTSC tuners and include 5 HDMI™ inputs, compatible with 1080p signals, and 2 HD 1080p component video inputs. The E77U Series features a sleek piano black cabinet with subtle recessed bottom-mounted speakers. The included table stands features swivel capability for viewing angle convenience, and is also easily removed for wall-mounting applications.

    Full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080) Resolution
    1080p is the shorthand name for a category of HDTV video modes. The number "1080" represents 1,080 lines of vertical resolution (1080 vertical scan lines) while the letter p stands for progressive scan (meaning the image is not interlaced). 1080p can be referred to as full HD or full high definition to differentiate it from other HDTV video modes.[2] The term usually assumes a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9, implying a horizontal resolution of 1920 pixels.

    The Sharp AQUOS® E77U series offers 10-Bit ASV Super lucent LCD Panel from Sharp's state-of-the-art Kameyama factory for a more lifelike picture, truer blacks, reduced reflection and fast response time. The AQUOS LINK function allows you to control both your AQUOS LCD TV and your AQUOS Blu-ray Disc player together. When you connect your AQUOS LCD TV to the Blu ray Disc player via an HDMI connection, you will have seamless interoperability between your AQUOS LCD TV and BD-HP20 Blu-ray Disc player.

    The Sharp AQUOS® E77U series offers 120Hz Fine Motion Enhanced for the ultimate in fast-motion picture quality. 120Hz Fine Motion fights against motion blur. HDTV blur is a common term used to describe a number of different artifacts on modern consumer high-definition television sets.
