    The Sharp Aquos LC-40E67U is a 40", 1080p LCD is a TV featuring an Advanced Super View panel which is Sharp's term for their anti-glare technology. 4 HDMI inputs, 2 component inputs give you plenty of places to plug in your video sources. Energy Star 3.0 to save some money on your power bill and Sharp's Viper Drive gaming mode round out the features of the Aquos LC-32E67U.                  

    1080p resolution
    1080p is the shorthand name for a category of HDTV video modes. The number "1080" represents 1,080 lines of vertical resolution (1080 horizontal scan lines), while the letter p stands for progressive scan (meaning the image is not interlaced). 1080p can be referred to as full HD or full high definition to differentiate it from other HDTV video modes.

    4 HDMI inputs
    HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a compact audio/video interface for transmitting uncompressed digital data. It represents a digital alternative to consumer analog standards such as Radio Frequency (RF) coaxial cable, composite video, S-Video, SCART, component video, D-Terminal, and VGA. HDMI connects digital audio/video sources such as set-top boxes, Blu-ray Disc players, personal computers (PCs), video game consoles, and AV receivers to compatible digital audio devices, computer monitors, and digital televisions.

    ENERGY STAR 3.0
    ENERGY STAR qualified televisions use 30% less energy than average. In November 2008, television specifications will be improved to limit on-mode power use, in addition to standby power which is limited by the current specifications. A wider range of ENERGY STAR qualified televisions will be available. Other qualified home electronics include cordless phones, battery chargers, VCRs and external power adapters, most of which use 90% less energy.

    Vyper Drive Gaming Mode
    The newly developed Vyper Drive game mode eliminates any perceptible lag between video game and the TV. Vyper Drive game mode optimizes reaction time and the picture quality of the TV to be perfectly matched with high-end 1080p-capable video game consoles. Our engineers studied these consoles and carefully crafted the performance of the TVs to be consistent with 1080p output. We don't have any specific recommendations on titles, but generally, the most noticeable difference would be on fast-action game software. With Vyper Drive, the lag between the game console and the TV will be reduced to imperceptible levels
