It can output video at "Full HD" 1080p resolution and a film-faithful rate of 24 frames per second, for exceptionally clean and smooth images from high-definition Blu-ray discs. And if your Blu-ray library includes titles with Bonus View features, you can watch picture-in-picture bonus material with just the push of a button on the '1800BD's remote.

    Pure Direct mode
    You can enhance the sound quality even further with Pure Direct mode, which turns off the front panel to eliminate a source of potential noise.

    Playback versatility
    It can play DVDs, including discs you burn at home, and those filled with DivX? video files downloaded from the Web. Audio CD, MP3, and WMA playback lets you enjoy your favorite tunes. You can even use the '1800BD to view digital photos on your TV screen, whether you store them on discs or SD? cards.

    Bonus View
    You can watch picture-in-picture bonus material with just the push of a button on the '1800BD's remote.  A growing number of Blu-ray releases include Bonus View picture-in-picture features, which the DVD-1800BD supports. For DVD viewing, the player features precision deinterlacing and upconversion, allowing up to 1080p high resolution via HDMI.
